Yes, Men Like Gifts Too, Even When They Appear To Have Everything
February 14, 2021, would have been another Sunday for me if I had gone to church; but it was simply an extension of my stressful Saturday. Sadly, I wasn’t expecting any package wrapped in red as nobody requested my house address before the close of business hours the previous day. I had only just moved into a new location that no one knew of except me.
This was the story of my life until 5:27 P.M. That day, I got a call from a female friend asking me to come over to her place immediately, without giving me the reason for such an abrupt request. Well, since I was either working my ass off cleaning my new apartment or spending my short breaks checking my WhatsApp statuses, I left for her room innocently. I arrived, masked in inquisitiveness, only to be treated to a small white fancy bag. Alas! A surprise Valentine package for me.
More than two decades of my existence on this planet and that was the first time a fellow human gave me a gift on February 14th. That changed my opinion of the date and significance of the celebration. It made me realize that I can be moved by even the smallest gift item.
Now, before we lose track of that which is more important, and with confidence in the knowledge that the content of the fancy bag is none of your business, please bury the thought that men don’t like gifts or that they won’t appreciate any. This might hurt, but you’ve probably not just been doing it well in the past. And that’s why I’m here to help you identify the best gift items for your man for that next anniversary, promotion, birthday, or what have you.
Men are known to be frequently unpredictable and not so straightforward. Hence, what you think he likes isn’t probably what he likes; and perhaps, this is why he didn’t appear to value the last set of singlets and boxers you gave him. I know that was what you gave him.
How To Get The Best Gift Ideas From His Social Media Profiles
I’m not quite sure if you also have a problem with the rising accusation of privacy breaches being levelled against WhatsApp. Regardless, this is your time to put that to good use.
Go to your man’s Instagram and run through his Feeds and Stories. Go to his Twitter and check his Feeds. Follow the link you find on the sponsored ads you find there, except it’s a link to the WHO affiliated to COVID-19 information.
In addition to this, check his Saved Collections on Instagram and/or Bookmarks on Twitter. Whatever affordable item you find there is a deal. For instance, if the first and second ads you see are about suits and ties, then, he has been searching.
His Facebook and WhatsApp ain’t left out either. What business pages has he recently followed or liked their posts? What vendors has he engaged the most on WhatsApp recently? You know what to do from there.
Never forget that human wants are insatiable and ever-changing, including your man’s. So, a post he saved or tweet he bookmarked two years ago isn’t exactly the best gift idea. Chances are, he has forgotten they still exist in his bookmarks or saved collections.
I’ll stop here for now. I hope you find these tips helpful.
